Portage and Torch Lakes offer fantastic fishing for Walleyes, Northern Pike, Smallmouth Bass, Perch, Crappies with the occasional Largemouth or Bluegill. Our fish are some of the biggest in the state! They are connected to Lake Superior which gives us a great forage base and big fish also moving in from the big lake. We regularly see 20lb+ Northerns, 5lb+ Bass and 30in+ Walleyes.
A combined 12,000 acres, many river inlets and outlets, multiple coves, break-lines, points and weed beds make Portage and Torch Lakes a fisherman's paradise.
